What's with all the Infidel votes all of a sudden? Is that due to his remarks in Thorgot's phalla?

For the record,
FWD, B:L and Buzz Buzz switched from targets to Infidel.
Not that I'm complaining (since FWD switched from me).

I checked with B:L - turns out it's a grudge.
I checked with Infidel - he says he suspects he's getting voted b/c of his pre-game initiation of the K_A bandwagon.

So... let's pretend Katchem_Ash was the top vote-getter.
What happens if he breaks the rules and posts in the thread before the expiration?

I might switch to Infidel, simply so K_A feels a little better about himself.

Possibly Thanatos would give him a minor infraction, or maybe just a warning. Why would he get an infraction? I figure he'd just lose that round and it would go to the second-highest vote-recipient.

For purposely breaking the rules of a game to mess it up for other people? But it's a moot point, because I doubt he's going to break the rules.

He wouldn't be purposely messing it up for others if he's playing it himself. He'd just get himself killed.
So what I wanted to know was if doing so would get the second-place killed, or if it would simply maintain the vote against him.
Essentially: Does f^cking up against the OP rules trump the vote?
Yes, I'm notorious for wanting to know all the rules of the game.

OK... here's what I got. So, the K_A bandwagon started b/c Infidel was inspired by Plutonium I jumped on it anyway b/c what the heck, K_A. Then I chatted with a couple players and discovered that Infidel started the bandwagon, so... vote Infidel. I stuck with K_A b/c what the heck, K_A. Then I saw the Plutonium switches from JDarksun. Turns out Plutonium INSPIRED the K_A bandwagon. After a few ppl switch, then I went on the Plutonium bandwagon. Then I note this post: forums.penny-arcade.com/showpost.php?p=2355880&postcount=70where Plutonium exhonerates himself. I feel a bit bad, then the thread updates. JDarksun switches to me. WTF, right? I ask. Turns out I tied the vote. I FREAKING TIED THE VOTE! What the hell are the chances of that, I ask you? So I do the next best thing - I apologize and ask him for a vote count. :-) edit and since he doesn't send me one - I help him with his tie issue and change my vote to him. :-)

Retracted my throwaway vote for Katchem_ash (I've got no problems with him), and figured I'd join the bandwagon against Plutonium.
He's a crafty bastard.

The vote was tied. I retracted my vote to untie it.

Today's life3 voting bloc? Completely out of nowhere.
I have no idea what that is about.

Plus, Jester voted to tie it at the last second, killing two people.
Very, very fishy.
